BCN3D Sigma Installation Instructions

These are installation instructions for the GeckoTek Magnetic Base for the BCN3D Sigma. When you are finished, you will be able to use GeckoTek Build Plates without the need for clips or tape.

You will need the following to complete the installation process (all included):

• 3xM4x15 Counter sink screw with allen-wrench socket
• 3xM4 Nuts
• 3xM4 Washer

Step 1: Remove the stock glass build platform.

Step 2: Place the aluminum GeckoTek plate on the heated bed, centering the plate’s 3 holes over the existing holes.

 Step 3: Insert the included screws and make sure the aluminum bed is as straight as possible to prevent the extruders from colliding during travel.

Step 4: Install the nuts and washers. Make sure the aluminum is still aligned, and then tighten all 3 screws. Do not over-tighten as this may damage the original heated bed.

Step 5: Install the steel build plate by placing it on top of the magnetic bed.

Step 6: Run Bed Calibration and enjoy your new build plate!
